What a beautiful 21 Days of Fasting and Prayer it has been. We are on our final day and we want celebrate God’s goodness and faithfulness! Today, we thank God for all our prayers that have been answered and the ones that are yet to be answered. We know that in all things God is sovereign and powerful. Please let us know what God has taught you through this fasting and prayer. We want to celebrate answered prayers with your family.

I only made it to Day 12 of this fast. It was the first time in a long time where I was being super intentional of fasting – not starving but being filled with God.
I learned many reasons I eat – emotional baggage, frustration, anger, disappointment.
I am re-learning about my dialogue with God. Even if prayers aren’t “answered,” talking to God is a gift itself. That first week, I felt lighter – not just without food – but it felt like my spirit was unloading things that I had been carrying for no reason.
Finally, I appreciated that night of prayer where I just felt poured into. I was reminded then, as I’m reminded today, that prayer isn’t telling God what He doesn’t know. It’s sharing all of yourself and just being ready for whatever God wants to share with you – hopefully discernment but at least a sense of peace.
I am challenged to continue fasting in my way and perhaps in more moderation, so I build this vital practice up instead of relying on it to reset me when I get too heavy – metaphorically and physically, haha.
